The Bird Bringer!

So right around the time that picturs of the Rexcelsior from the Lego Movie 2 came out I had wanted to build a blacktron ship. I figured a giant fist was a cool idea. Now at this time I didn't clue in to the fact that the Rexcelsior was was a fist. Yeah I was subconsciously influenced by the ship without even knowing it. I didn't notice until part way threw the build.

 Despite being kinda the same ship as Rex's mine has an added feature.

Of course I later got the Rexcelsior and had to take a few pics.

Be wary of the Blacktron...4?

The Mandolorian TV show is awesome, and it was captivated the nerd world. Even spilling into the Blacktron. Mind you, with the latest Collectable Minifig series having a Blacktron "Bounty Hunter", people are bound to mix the two together. Constender took an interesting approach with this MOC here.

Honestly, not sure what's going on. Is the Bounty Hunter in league with the Space Police? Are the two Blacktron's in league with each other and it's all some master plan? Hard to say.

Still, interesting use of that printed slope.

Let the old become new

This is actually a remake of an old moc I had made a long time ago. I had always like the overall design of the ship and wanted to remake it. So I did.

A little Anime, a little Blacktron and a lot of talent

With 2020 here it's as good as time as any to start building Blacktron. I don't care how just build! Stu Pace here did just that with a beautiful build of a anime style Blacktron and Space Police. Highly stylized yet still retaining the key aspects of the Blacktron minifig with the torso design makes this a great start to 2020 for Blackton.
