Apparently Rubblemaker has been busy! I previously posted his Trident, but he had apparently built three more very swooshable looking ships to go along with it!
Its hard to choose a favorite among them, but I'm going to have to go with the one in the back! It's just the most menacing of the lot.
Every so often I build a Vic Viper of my own, and normally, I am quite disappointed in the results. This year, I can finally say I built a Vic Viper that I am happy with.
In case the inspiration wasn't obvious, I was inspired by 6981 Aerial Intruder, and the Millennium Flacon. So I named the ship Aerial Falcon. Inventive, I know.
The combination of the two worked really well in my opinion.
And it's the 15th AnniVVersary of NoVVember, too. And of course, someone, Rubblemaker, had to do a Blacktron VV.
Mind you, it's not quite a proper Viper in my opinion. The prong's aren't prongminent enough, the cockpit is too large.
But it get's bonus points from using a Bionicle part, so that evens things out.
The builder doesn't offer ay description for this Renegade remake, but with a build like this, do they need to?
I suspect it could have been built for SHIPtember, that time of year when builders build SHIPs in a month.
Can a steam engine work in space? I don't think so. Does that make this a silly crossover creation? No. This Blacktron Train by Joseph Joosten perfectly exemplifies this blog. Taking something not Blacktron, dipping it into some black, white, and neon green paint, and voila! It's now coloured Blacktron.

It be a Blacktron coloured boat. Obviously I be replacing the trans neon green with just your regular lime green, but that be a compromise I be willing to make. I didn't do all out and beyond with me other Blacktron Boat, which also be a Bionicle one.
This Blacktron Striker by Chris Perron, a famous builder if there ever was one, looks a tad fragile, but that's not what I was implying in the title. No, I was talking about the excellent use of those large sized brick seperators that he used in this build. Bloody brilliant, and took me a couple moments to realize what he had done.
Oh, and those wings are quite snazzy.
Even Blacktron have to have a place to rest and relax, and since a man's house is his castle, what better place to kick up your boots than an actual castle?
I got this sent to be by a follower right here on Colour it Blacktron! I had gotten a used copy of this idea book, still have it, back in the day. Marcus built the little "Blacktron speeder" using parts only from the new Blacktron Cruiser. Well done sir!

And when I don't, I build Blacktron 1.
This creation came about simply because I was looking to use up some larger wheels, and what better use than a Battrax?
It has all the functions of the original set, and can ever swap parts around with it!
I was looking at the Lego TIE Defender and thinking, that is ripe for the Blacktronizing.
It's something I've been wanting to do for a while but finally got around to it. I think it turned out great.
Ever thought of building a suitcase that could transform into a Blacktron vehicle?

A really mobile base for Blacktron. Brickbuilt wheels, smaller vehicles that fit inside, and of course, it all folds up into a carrying case. Because why not?
If that isn't a mouthful of a MOC name, I don't know what is. But just like the title, the MOC is a combination of all the Blacktron 2 spaceships. This isn't the first time I have done this, either. It's in fact the fourth time. Blimey, I forgot about one of those...
This little Blacktron Mech-drone really reminds me of the Bohrak Va from Bionicle. I think it's fairly obvious why.
It's a cute little MOC by Duncan Lindbo, and I am sure those Blacktron guys are up to no good.
A simple fun thing I like to do sometimes is build cockpits for ships, like the ones Aerial Intruder, or Allied Avenger had. Here are a trio I made a while back.
The first one here is a beefed up version. It's a bit bigger and tougher looking.
This next one is an shrunken little Allied Avenger, but with a meaner twist. Just trying out those printed canopies the Stingrays used. Had to build it a bit differently because the side that the printing is on.
And the third is basically a Super Nova 2 that's been "Podified"
Oh, and here's a fourth one! This one actually has a ship to go with it, which you'll see soon! This fourth one is very much a mixture of all the sets, it has aspects from as many as I could incorporate, like the dish from the Spectral Starguider, the double prongs on the sides like the Alpha Centauri Outpost, but in white, like the Allied Avenger.
Yeah, you heard that right. I built a Blacktron MOC. That's also a boat. that's also Bionicle.
It's not the first time I have done a boat in Blacktron, but this is the first time I have thrown Bionicle into the mix. after all, I do love Bionicle as much as Blacktron and Boats.
It was a bit of a challenge do build a boat out of parts that weren't designed for it, but I think I managed quite well. The natural flex of the Bionicle elements gave me the ability to get a nice curvature to the hull.
If you thought the recent GWP Blacktron Cruiser was awesome, your a normal human being. If you thought it needed to be much bigger, you might be seb71. The builder upscaled the ship, and did such an excellent job, captured the shape and essence, while still being a completely new and exciting thing!
It even comes apart into the proper sections.
And to top it all off, Bionicle parts are used as greebling.
And it churned out a lot of Blacktron Rovers this time around! Here's a few of my favorite ones:
A usual contributor to the blog here, Spacerunner built this Warhorse. It reminds me a bit of the Alienator, but if it had treads. And obviously a mohawk.

It's not often you see a Space castle. and that's clearly what this is. The builder even calls it Castle Black(tron), so there really is no confusion whatsoever.
I am very glad I found this when I did, for this is the 375th post on Color it Blacktron. 375 is the number of the first and maybe most famous castle set, the Yellow Castle.
Before I even saw pictures of the recent Blacktron cruiser GWP, I built this MOC for a contest on Eurobricks. The premise of that contest was to build a space ship with a smaller vehicle within 20-40 studs.
The rover comes out, and it's even got a neat function to do it!
Blacktron 2 may be my bread and butter, but I can still build a mean Blacktron 1 ship from time to time.
This Blacktron treaded vehicle looks like it could take on any terrain! It may not be speedy, but not much is going to get in it's way. Built by Diego Carestiato for Lego Ideas, so maybe go and give it some support!
If you haven't seen the news yet, there is a new GWP on Lego.com, and it's BLACKTRON!
Price point is a little high to get it (It varies by country, but here in Canada it's $250. Ouch) But if you are a fan of Blacktron in any way, go and get it while supplies last!
