Rubblemaker is at it again, this time with the second generation of Blacktron.
I'm pretty sure Rubblemaker has made use of every single new curved piece Lego has made. I've pointed it out before, but it's a bit difficult to make curved Blacktron 2 MOCs, simply because of the few curved Trans-neon-green parts there is. And there won't be any more, because Lego has discontinued the colour.Saturday, July 27, 2024

A case of the Modern Blacktron
The most recent Collectable Minifigure line that Lego released is all about space, in case you haven't heard. and one of them is the Blacktron Mutant.
While perhaps not the greatest minifig to amass an army of, the torso is absolutely a great update on the Blacktron 2 torso. I love it so much.
Now, Jamie Thul has taken the torso, along with another part from another fig from the same CMF line, and created an updated version of the jetpacked Blacktron, who I refer to as "Big Boys"
It is a brilliant combination, and small base for the fig includes another yet another part from a series 26 fig, a 1x2 plate printed with yellow caution stripes from the M-tron!

Feeling a little crabby today.
I've been seeing a lot of crabs popping up on my Flickr feed lately. Apparently there is some Crab-Collab going on. Rubblemaker joins it with a Blacktron 1 crab. Clearly a person with great taste.
I always smile when someone utilizes Bionicle parts well, and the use of the Bohrok head pieces as the crab's legs is brilliant.
