Here it is again!

The Colour it Blacktron Contest is back!

This time is a little different then last. Instead of just building an old creation in Blacktron colours, you can also build any official set in the Blacktron colour schemes.

Rules:

-NO clones! (Custom pieces are allowed)
-Digital entries are allowed.
-No piece or size limit.
-No Blacktron 3 creations.

Prizes (assuming Bricklink comes through):

1st place: A used 6894 Invader with a Blacktron II minifig.
2nd place: A used 6832 Super Nova 2, without Instructions.

It isn't much, but hopefully it will make you build some Blacktron!

If you have any questions, either comment ont his post, or ask them at Classic Space here:

Just like the sets

A new member of Classic-Space.com (If you are not a member of this great forum, then come and join We are looking for new members!) built his first creation using parts from various Blacktron II sets. It fits in very well with the official sets, with details like the detachable cockpit, and the multitude of anteneas.

Not really a MOC

But still Blacktron! A member of the Blacktron pool on Flickr posted this useful little list on the color schemes of all three Blacktrons (The Blacktron III is for interpretation, but I feel it fits very well)

More then just ships

And this coming from the guy who almost only builds Spaceships and sailing ships..
Anyways, Rougebantha built some sweet NBT minifigs. Not much else to say, other then I would hate to be on the receving end of his anger, with bodyguards like those...

Gamma Gatria

My newst ship, this one titled Gamma Gatria (Loosly based on 'Alpha Centuari')

I am quite happy with how it turned out. All studs up, and still pretty smooth looking. Buying those quarter domes has easily been one of the best things I have ever done.

I take my words back

Almost right after I posted last, an influx of NBT creations by Bricktron flooded the Blacktron group on flickr My favorite has to be the redone Battrax. It just looks so mean and nasty, just like a good NBT creation should be.

There has been a lack of NBT lately

But this beauty of a shuttle, named Octtrax, by Roguebantha totally makes up for it. Heck, the crew is awesome enough to make up for a couple days.

Going the classic route

Diamond2a goes good old studs up style with this beauty of a ship, named Blacktron Explorer. If this were a set, and it looks like it could fit right in with the classic Blacktron II sets, I wouldn't hesitate to snatch it up! The photography here is also very different then what we are used to.

Stolen from a Galaxy far, far away

Just recently popping up in the Blacktron group on Fickr, Darktan brings the latest in Blacktron 3 stolen technology.

Definitly the best Jedi starfighter out there.

Allied Avenger 2.0 (Again?)

My latest attempt at remodeling the classic ship, Allied Avenger. By now, this ship is definitly the most redone one of all Blacktron ships. But I wanted to try that cockpit design, and use those new skies as landing gear, and it just ended up becoming an Allied Avenger remake.

Time to Hide

The New Year has come, and Rougebantha brings us this frightening mech known as Inciser2. A very menacing looking mech, one which I would never want to meet in a dark alley, or even in a brightly lit enemy base, as the short backstory might point to.

What a way to start the year.....

Aerial Instigator

Not really my most recent creation, but currently it is the most recent to have pictures taken. The Aerial Instigator is a medium sized fighter, with 2 quad blasters, 1 mounted on each of the two engines A cargo compartment sits behind the cockpit.

It's just getting colder...

This creation by Chiefrocker9000 is very ironic, for up here in Canada, lots of snow has been coming down the last couple of weeks. The ship is also quite cool, though more pics would be nice. The snow covered stuff is easily the best part about.

100th post!

It's been awhile since I posted on of my Blacktron creations. However, after procrastinating a bit, I decided to finally post my largest SHIP to date (Spaceship, that is):

The Gamma Centauri, Slightly based off two of my previous ships, is 120 studs long, making it my biggest SHIP, not including any sailing ships I have made. Complete with a detailed (probably my most detailed yet) interior, a crew of about 20 (Just estimating) and utilizing those 10x10 quarter dishes that I said I would use, this is one of my best, if not THE best, Blacktron Ship I have built.

Folder with lots more pics:

In retrospect, maybe I should have saved it for my 120th post, seeing as it is 120 studs long. Ah well.
