I have the feeling it is very Swooshable

Another great ship by Chiefrocker9000, this one titled 'Blacktron Interceptor GP/2112 "The SkullCracker"'. I have to say. this is my favorite one from him yet. The cockpit defintily adds a very retro Blacktron feel to it.

Older Brothers are awesome.

Brothers are awesome. Especially when they give you Custom-made kits. Especially when those custom-made kits are Blacktron X-wings.
But that isn't the coolest part. The coolest part is the custom made box he made. Especially note the backside of the box. It isn't all Blacktron, but it is still awesome.
All I can say, is that I have the best brother in the world.

Two more Blacktron 2, but his time they are mine!

The BSS Torment is a prisoner transport, and when the prisiner tries doing stuff, or is just plain annoying, the roof can detach and the will be breathing vacuum.
This is simply a sipmle, doubled up Arial inrtuder. nut much else to say here, other than i wanted to do this for a while.

Two ships for the Blacktron II

A nice looking spacecar. Has a reminisant fell of the Super Nova II. Not so sure about the Blacktron 1 dude, but I'll let him off for having such a cool ship.
This one is a remake of a previous ship, and I think it looks much better, even though it is mainly just a bit of white added that is all of the difference. the use of the lime grill slope peices adds a nice little bit to the ships.
Here's the brickshelf foldder for more pics:

The Blacktron 3 Are coming...

Dano has made this great fig, using the new torso from this set: http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=5981&cn=589&d=70
He also made great use of the new Altantis visor. Total win.

X Marks the Spot

An overly used cliche, but hey, I take what I can get.

OptimalControl has churned out another great Blacktron 1 ship. More pics here:

Another great ship by Crimso Giger

At first there was a glaring red background, where you couldn't get much details out of it. That has changed, and all of the little details that were previously hidden have come to light.
This has to be my favorite Blacktron II ship by Crimso Giger to date. There is more black than his previous ones, and the whole shape of the ship is quite pleasing to my eyes.

It's a TIE Fighter!

Okay, so it isn't a real TIE Fighter, but when a spaceship is cheaply built in mass quantities, and has no Shields, it is essentially a TIE Fighter. And that is exactly what Bionicbadboi describes his newest ship as.

BT-40 type B - the "Tortoise"

A remix of the Skull Twins "Car" from the Space Police III set Hyperspeed Pursuit by Flickr user Jerrec. While retaining a Blacktron feel to it, it is still recognizable as the Skull Twin's vehicle. Another version was made of this, but I feel that this one is better.

BSS Intrepid

That's what I get for watching too much Star Trek Voyager, though I didn't actually realize it at first. Blasted subconscious.

The Intepid is basically a rehash of the BSS Enterprise that I built a while back, but I think that this is different enough that it is worth posting.

Only a Few Peices

Can make quite a ship, or perhaps three ships. bionicbadboi made these awsome ships using only a few peices.

Pimped out Allied Avenger

Here is Chiefrocker's NBT2 "The Talishku`shu":

http://www.flickr.com/photos/lehmeee/4043173713/

Enjoy!

Two Microscale

The first, an exellent micro NBT II ship. The scale is rather deceptive, for I first thought that it was miniffig scale

The second, a take on the classic Tiberius class starship. A brilliant idea, If I do say so myself The new motto is a killer (Pun inteneded): "...to explode new worlds, to seek out and destroy new life..."

NBT at Brickcon

NBT had an invasion at Brickcon, in case you didn't know. More pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cbla_member/3982681579/in/pool-neoblacktron

Leigh Holcombe built this lovely version of 6932. This creation gives a very good original Blacktron1 feel to it. Well done!

See some more pictures here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/27249820@N04/3970516712/

Another one for NBT!

Aaron Dayman built this as a trophy for the impending Brickcon. All I have to say is that is is cooler than the real one.

Blacktron Intelligence Agency

I came across this MASSIVE Blacktron 1 Base on flickr, but I beleive I have seen it before. No matter, it is still awsome, though I am not sure I get why there are two Space Police ships parked there.

NCS doesn't Stand a Chance

Especially when NBT is involved. I mean, just look at that bipedial NBT mecha! IT is so armored compared to that NCS one. I was never really fond of mecha's, but hey, it's Blacktron!

BSS Enterprise

Yeah, it is just a Blackton 2 Starship, but hey, whatever, it works and it looks good, IMO. I had wanted to build one, so I did. Can't fault me for that.

Two Blacktron II

Crismo Giger made these two Blacktron II creation. I am really amazed at how awsome this looks. The cockpit on the second one is especially awsome. The only nitpick I have with these, is the over amount of SNOT used in it, but that is omething that I will have to live with.

A Cute Rendition

Lego Dog built this Blacktron 1 version of the 6861 X-1 Patrol Craft. The simplicity of it is just astounding, though it looks like it is in need of some dusting, though that is no new thing in my Lego collection.

Not Lego...

But still Blacktron.

I made the grid design by myself (Not hard at all), and I cut the thread myself (That wasn't hard either).
Now you know I love Blacktron II.

A remake, Part One

Part one you say? Well it goes like this: I remade two Blacktron ships, and I decided to do two different posts, one for each.

Anyhow, here is the remake of the Talana:

I kept the original dimensions (Almost, it is one stud longer), as well as key features, like the sloped front, and the pod attachments by the wings. The two guns on the front are also one of those above mentioned features.
And pictures of the new (When public):http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=394086

Blacktron 2 has been underrepresented lately

Underrepresented you say? Well, Sklar, the creator of this creation, helped along the lack of Blacktron 2 in this NBT infested time. He calls his creation Blacktron M.E.L. for Mobile Exploration Lab. Strange name. Ah well.

Name aside, I find this a very interesting creation. The wheel Assembly is definitely different, and the use of the Power Miners wheel/drill thingy on the back is a nice touch.

Another by Shannon Ocean

This one being a remake of a Classic ship, 6929. It is called "Lurker", a perfect choice for a name if I do say so myself. There is plenty of detail in this model, from the awesome use of gate portcullis, to the fence piece on the front. The Blacktron 1 Color scheme was nailed perfectly in this creation, as another added bonus.

It speaks for itself

Exxtrooper made this from a picture by Don Solo, and there isn't much too say that hasn't already been said other than awsome!

More than meets the eye

Shannon Ocean built this beautiful Blacktron Transformer for the Neo-Blacktron stuff, and I must say, it is gorgeous! The way it transforms is just perfect! There is also some nice parts usage, mainly the Bionicle leg peices.

Look here for more pics:http://www.flickr.com/photos/10104652@N06/3687847491/in/pool-neoblacktron

This thing puts my attempts at making Lego transformers to shame.

Better Late then never

These two late entries were built by Classic Space users Bricknut and Legospwn, respectively. They were entered after the deadline had passed, but as Legospwn said on Classic Space: "I figured I'd enter this so that Admiral Netsooj could still use the thing for his blog, if he wanted." A good enough reason to post it if I do say so myself.

The Last Ones

This entry by Mark Stafford is technically disqualified since it is a remake of a Space Police III set (Good enough reason right there, sort of), but it is still blacktron, so it is worth putting on this blog. I may have to undisqualify it for a lack of entries.
More pictures of this creation can be found here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=390120

This entry is one of three by David Roberts. I only chose one of them because I did not wish to clutter up this post too much.

More pictures (Including pictures of the other two entries) may be found on this thread on Classic-Space: http://www.classic-space.com/plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?83083.last
An added note, judging ends tonight at midnight (For some of you this has already passed, but not all of you). I will officially end the contest tommorow morning (Hopefully)

Back, and with Vengeance!

And The Borealis Pride has lots of vengeance to give!

Before I left on my ten day vacation, I took pictures of the Borealis Pride, my 101 stud long Blacktron II SHIP. I now post it.
This is what I have come up with after building Blacktron II for only 5 years. If i do say so, this is pretty good. I built this with the Stargate ship Prometheus(http://stargate.wikia.com/wiki/Prometheus) in mind, but the similarities are really only the general shape of the ship, nothing more.
I hope you enjoy!

Vacation!

Newsflash!

I am going on vacation for 11 days, so there will be no updates for that period of time.

Almost Forgot!

I almost forgot to blog this one! This was made by CSF user Borgador. It is the second entry.
And just so you know, the deadline has been extended to the end of June.

It's so cute

I want one I really do

Captain Redstorm based this little guy off of the little vehicles on 6981 Arial intruder, the largest Blacktron 2 spaceship design by TLC.

This really makes me want to go buy a black crate.

A comic for your (possible) enjoyment

I was bored the other day, so I made this comic. (You have to click on it to get a good view of it)

I am not sure how funny it is, but if it is, I might make more. Please give me your thoughts on either the Classic Space.com thread (Link on bottom of post) or on a comment here. Just as a bit of background info so you can decifer the comic if it is not apperant:

In every SciFi show/movie that I have watched, they all have different forms of going faster than light. My examples are: Star Trek has warpspeed, Star Wars has lightspeed, Stargate has hyperspace windows (This and SW are the closest), and Battlestar Galactica has FTL drives

I have not named this comment, but if I do make more, a name would be appreciated.

It will slice you to peices

Dano puts to use those rather useless (IMO) Buzz saw pieces in his creation built this for Space Pirates contest on Flickr, and I must say, this is certainly what I call a ship for Space Pirates.

This is what NBT is all about

Smooth lines- Check

Right Balance of colors- Check

Lots of guns- Check

Another creation by OptimalControl, this one being a spaceship designed for NBT, though the giant fig is still cool.

From the creator of the Blacktron II....

This ship was made for the recent Neo-Blacktron 1 fad that has pooped up, and I am loving it! Nathan Proud love makes use of those terribly annoying eye bricks that every seems to accumulate. At least if you buy lots of Freestyle sets. And those big guns.....
If you feel like reading the short but interesting backstory, or just like to see the rest of the pics, go here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/proudlove/3551693939/in/pool-neoblacktron

Two Science Vessels

And these ones are my creations!

They don't have any backstory what so ever. I built them because I had some figs and the right color of peices left over, so these were built.

A new trend

Just what I need to keep this blog going for a couple months:

A new trend, this one about BLACKTRON 1!Too bad Blacktron II are not part of the trend, but just you wait, just you wait

Can you say awsome? I can

Apparently Optimal Control can build awesome. This giant Blacktron I minifig is at 6 times the scale of a regular minifig, which implies that it must be 6 times as cool. which it is.

And to make it even cooler, it is a giant mech! Now isn't that cool! Look in his Flickr account to see what I am talking about.

Now if only there was a Blacktron II one of these guys.
