A very Merry Blacktron Christmas

I'm fairly certain the Blacktron Santa doesn't give you presents, but he will take your cookies. And your TV. And your couch. And your family if given the chance. Either way, Kalais is wishing you a merry Blacktron X-MAS

Rails will always be around

Even when humans reach the stars, we will still use good old trains on rails to transport all those goods, no one more so than the Blacktrons and their ill gotten goods.
This space train by Alkinoos is perfect. It still looks like a train, but it could easily be flying through space.

Not a nest you want to disturb

This ship and base were clearly displayed at some event which I can not pronounce the name of, but it also clearly is awesome.
I'm not sure who the builder is (photos are by one Emil Emilovic) so I will simply assume that the poster is the builder.

The base is equally impressive, looks almost Moonbase compatible. Sadly, these are the only photos I have seen, if any one has more drop a comment!

Borealis Might

Oddly enough, even though I am posting a SHIP, during SHIPtember, this was not a build for SHIPtember. It was originally built back in July and August, I'm only now just getting around to posting it here.
Clocking in at 103 studs long (about 106 with antennas) It isn't my longest ship by any means, but it does break a record. With 6 decks, it's my SHIP with the most decks, the previous record being that of the old Hammerhead 2. This ship is pretty much an enlarged, revamped, much better version of that old ship.

Capable of landing, these Hammerhead class ships are often utilized as mobile bases during the conquering of planets or cities. Capable of carrying two Allied Avengers, or six Supernova in the rear fighter bay, and either 2 Sub Orbital Guardians or 2 Tri-Wheeled Tiraxs in the lower vehicle bay, The Borealis Might is a small fleet unto itself, on ground or in space. The main weapons on the ship are 4 double barreled heavy cannons, and 8 dual blasters. Three nukes and 12 missiles complete it.

The decks are as follows:
Deck 1, the top, Crew quarters.
Deck 2, More crew quarters, plus rec room/messhall.
Deck 3, Medical level/science lab.
Deck 5, Engineering (Located under the fighter bay in the rear section) and missile bay.
Deck 6, Ground vehicle bay

All in all, I'm very pleased with  this ship, it's easily one of my favorites I have built so far.

Blacktron Millenium Falcon

Ah Star Wars and Blacktron what an interesting combo, especially when it's not combined with the empire.
This was built for the TBB LEGO Millenium Falcon Contest and I must say it's got a lot of charm. Not to mention it's sporting a great colour scheme. I'm now picturing a Blacktron pilot with a white albino Wookie.

Rusting away in a junkyard somewhere...

Do you remember these two ships? The Beta Centauri and Delta Centauri?
Typically my MOCs (That was redundant....) have a shelf life of some sorts. Some longer than others, some never get broken. these particular ships were built about 3 years ago. One of them has been destroyed for over 2 years, but the other has survived this entire time, but not without modifications.

I now present the Theta Centauri:

I took the ship that survived, and modified it to look all rusted and decrepit. I also removed most of the guns, the back story being that the ship was decommissioned and all the useful components were removed.
I've waited all this time to post the updated version, simply because I feel all the dust was necessary. It certainly adds to the affect, in my opinion.

Swooshing in from above

Uspez has built what he titles the "Blacktron Blasterizor". The colour scheme is spot on to the first Blacktron, and would't look to out of place lined up with the sets.

also, I think it must be great at blasting enemies, with a name like Blasterizor.

Time to stay up all night

Luc Byard has taken Peter Reid's classic turtle and "rectified" a few design flaws. More legs, a bigger tail, and about a million more times scarier. Don't go looking under your bed tonight....
I think I may have to build myself a couple.

Coming in hot

There really isn't much to say about this ship by Kelkschiz, other than it completely embodies all that is Blacktron.

Its both dangerous and awesome. What more do you need?

Back to Mata Nui

I've already established that I am a fan of Bionicle. Heck, I would say I am a huge fan of it. and I am one of those rare AFOLs who build in both your normal Lego bricks and Bionicles.

Now, often my love for the system brick (specifically Blacktron) and Bionicle collide, and what results in Blacktron Bionicles.

Some of these guys are not new. You may recognize the elephant headed one. but a couple are new.
One of the best things to come out of the 2nd Generation of Bionicle, was the melded black and neon green mask.

I don't limit myself to just Blacktron 2 (Though anyone can tell I am biased towards it), I do build in the original Blacktron every now and then, even in Bionicle.
All this Bionicle build has sidetracked me from other half completed projects, one of which is a Blacktron SHIP....

More pictures of the Bionicles can be found here, if one is interested.

Just doing a flyby

This ship will bug you more than any mosquito, and if you try and swat it, it it probably destroy you.

I'm not a huge fan on insect looking ships (probably because I am not a fan of actual insects) but this MOC by Yet Another Moc Account is pretty awesome.

Backup please.

Who needs some back up?

This lovely build called "Blacktron Backup" by Richard LEGOherz is really beautiful. Simple in design it captures the feel of a guard standing being on duty is rather relaxing and then adding in the lighting makes it all come together.

I'm now curious about this guys story and where he is.
It's that time of year again! (Assuming it's an odd numbered year, anyways,)

The Color it Blacktron Contest V!

-Build a Blacktron creation. (1, 2, or even 3)
-No clone brands
-Build more Blacktron creations (1, 2, or even 3)

Tanks for nothing!

With a name like Blacktron Liberator, the Blacktrons are obviously liberating something, and I feel a bit sorry for the poor Space Police who are facing down this tank by Kelkschiz.

Not sure if that yellow cockpit is an official Lego part, but It certainly looks good here. A trans yellow one might looke ven better, but last I checked, I don't think it comes in trans yellow.

Soon....

Since this will be the 5th Color it Blacktron contest, I plan on making the prizes more enticing than usual. Stay tuned for more information!

Welcoming aboard a new author!

Please all give a round of applause as we welcome in my brother, Purple Wolf, (Or Onvermel) who is now an author of Color it Blacktron!
And those are just a few of his sigfigs....

I figured since he let me in on his blog (The Onvermel Report) it was only fair I return the favor.

Deep in the frozen wastelands of Krysto

This isn't a fancy MOC of any kind, such a simple Ice Planet tower in the snow with a Blacktron crash survivor. Some great photography by Adam Hughes

Obviously this leads up to this from the 1993 Lego catalogs  (Or perhaps its the other way around?)

Too much too late

This SHIP was built for SHIPtember last year, but the builder had an unfortunate incident, so wasn't able to post it online until recently. It's too bad, as this is quite the impressive Blacktron 1 SHIP.

The only issue I have, is the top is a bit bland. It's quite flat and bland, especially when compared to the front area of the ship.

Monopod

Looks like I'm getting in my "One post per month" average. Oh well....

Frost built this monopod for Febrovery. I don't have much to say about it, other than it doesn't look functional...

Just under the wire

I still did a bit of working on it after the new year, but this stands as the last creation I built in 2016.

Really, is there anything else to say? I'll probably have some more close up pictures at some point. Maybe.

Maybe I should have posted this earlier

After seeing that landing pad form my previous post, this Moonbase I made a couple months ago is quite... square in comparison. I built it for a display my lug did (SALUG, the show was called Brix n Blox) The photography is also not as great, but I was feeling quite lazy, and just wanted some quick pictures.
More pictures on my Flickr, if you're interested

A sight for sore eyes

After a long mission of stealing from other spacefaring nations, this landing pad by Luc Byard is sure to bring a sigh of relief from even the toughest of Blacktrons

I really like the resemblance to the landing pad from the Alpha Centauri Outpost.
